Wales is part of the United Kingdom, and its head is the British monarch, currently Queen Elizabeth II. Legislative power, the source of which is the monarch, is in the hands of the British Parliament, and part of it is transferred to the Cardiff-based National Assembly of Wales, consisting of 60 members elected by the people of the province. The national Assembly elects one of its members as its President and one-his Deputy

Armistice Day- its a holiday of Victory in World War I, what celebrating only in Wales, Scotland and USA. On this day, people fasten scarlet poppies to their clothes, paying tribute to everyone who died at the front. Funds received from the sale of bouquets are sent to the fund for assistance to veterans of all armed conflicts.

Bonfire night its a holiday thats celebrating since 5th of November 1605 every Year. Its celebrating in honour of lucky saving the King James I.

They celebrate on October 21 and dedicate the fruit, having bitten off which, Eve committed the original sin. The program of festivities includes tasting delicacies, pastries and desserts from apples, contests, competitions. The most popular competition is organized among archers who must hit the apple from a certain distance. Welsh culinary experts and simple housewives demonstrate the art of making fruit pies, and gardeners buy young seedlings at fairs and agricultural markets.
